The Area

I have listed below a few links to local businesses

We are situated in the picturesque village of West Lulworth,
which incorporates the world famous Lulworth Cove right at the heart of the
Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Area.
The Cove is a horseshoe shaped, natural harbour with some of the best examples
of volcanic rock formations above the ground anywhere on this continent.
Nearby is the famous rock formation of Durdle Door.
Out to the West of Lulworth is the Victorian seaside town of Weymouth. With its white sandy beaches
and harbour, Weymouth has lots to offer for the day tripper or holiday maker - Sealife Centre, Pavilion Theatre,
good shopping centre, bars and restaurants and night life which goes on till 4 in the morning,
this is to name but a few.
Further to the West is Abbottsbury with its famous swannery.
Further West still is the town of Bridport with its famous West Bay and harbour which, incidentally
is where the television series Harbour Lights staring Nick Berry from Heartbeat was filmed.
Travelling East we come to Kimmerage Bay with its stunning views and embedded fossils.
Further on you have Chapmanā€™s Pool, its blue waters just have to be seen.
The Square and Compass at Worth Matravers is worth stopping at for a taste of one of their many
ciders or a warm pasty.
Corfe Castle, is really close, with its ruins and village atmosphere, great pubs and good food.
The seaside town of Swanage, great for the day tripper, back packer or holiday maker alike.
Studland Beach is only a stones throw away, with its views across the water to Old Harry Rocks and
Sandbanks - the third most expensive place to buy property in the world. (Allegedly)!
The reason we love being in this area is South coastal path which starts at Lyme-Regis in the
West all the way to Studland in the East. We are right in the centre of this fabulous path and
cover all of it with our taxi service.
Please look at my gallery for some shots taken from various places along the path. - Coming Soon
